Happy May 17, friends and followers! It’s our National Day, and what better opportunity to update the blog? My science fiction novel Prometheus is still under consideration, as it was submitted to Schibsted Forlag March 1. It has received great reviews from my test readers, and I am hoping the same goes for the good gentlemen and ladies at the publisher. Only time will tell. I should receive an answer in the near future.
In the meanwhile I’m not idling. My next piece—an independent novella for young readers—is best named Tidal Water in English, in Norwegian Tidevann. It’s about five Scandinavian youths discovering a mysterious island, where no island should be, after encountering a sudden storm that sinks their sailboat. The word count as of today is 23,879, and I’m guessing it will end up in the neighborhood of 30,000+. Should be done soon, in other words.
